Mason and Harper both went to see Dr. Murphy today. Here are their stats:
Mason (3 year)
Height-36.5 inches (25th percentile)
Weight- 29 lbs. (25th percentile)
Harper (3.5 month)
Height- 24.5 inches (92nd percentile) Mason was an inch taller.
Weight- 14 lbs. 14 oz. (95th percentile!!!) The Dr actually said her reflux was a benefit. Ha! Mason was 13 lb and 13.5 ounces
Head circumference- 16 inches
Chest- 17 inches
Harper is such a good baby (since she started her Zantac). She is smiley and laid back for the most part. She's rolled a few times and giggled a few times but it's still not a regular thing. She sleeps through the night (since 6 weeks except for this week). She enjoys TV (like father like daughter) and being outside. Shes very different from Mason. She doesn't like the swing, chairs that vibrate, sleeping all day, and being dressed. She loves being a naked baby already. It's funny how nervous I was to have a girl. It's fun! But ask me again in 15 years. For now... She's a keeper!
Mason is so funny. He says the funniest things. He's adjusted well to being a big brother. He loves Harper and is always saying, "she's so cute!" He loves trains, TV, dinosaurs, and cars. He's a great mix of "all boy" and sensitive. He plays in the dirt, jumps from high things, laughs at burps and farts, and plays sports. But, on the "girly" side, he also loves pink, has ballerina feet (good for baseball, I keep telling Michael), loves Dora, and wants to keep his hands clean at all times. I've never been one for this socialization of boy stuff and girl stuff. If you like it do it! He's sleeping in a big boy bed (full bed), went to the dentist (2 thumbs up), he can ride a scooter and tricycle. He doesn't really get into trouble except for when he whines or says something rude. This boy picks up everything and the new word to use..... Psycho. I don't think so. :)
We have two great kids and it's very exciting to think about our future with them.
